Transfer Cell C Airtime and Datato another Cell C Number. All Cell C Prepaid and Top Up customers are eligible to use the Cell C Airtime Share service. You can opt-in for the service either via *147# and select option 3 to opt-in to the Airtime Share or using the Cell C App. For the first airtime transfer, the minimum transaction value is R50 for all new Prepaid and Top Up customers. After the first transfer you can transfer airtime in denominations of pre-defined amounts of R5, R10, R20, R30 or R50 in a single transaction. The service is FREE; the Rand value amount shared will be deducted from the customer’s available airtime balance.`

Cell C Airtime Share Service Process

1. Dial *147# and select Airtime Share.
2. Select “Activate Airtime Share and start sharing airtime”
3. Select the amount you want to share.
4. Enter the Cell C Prepaid or Top Up cellphone number.
5. Confirm your transaction.

After step 5 is completed, both you and the recipient of the airtime will receive an SMS confirming the transaction. You cannot transfer Cell C Airtime to Vodacom, MTN or Telkom.
